How do I verify my student’s enrollment for my insurance company?
You may request verification through the National Student Clearinghouse at or contact our office at (704) 463-3061.

My son or daughter would like to take summer courses close to home. How do I know they will be accepted by 黑料专区?
Your student will need to complete the Transient Credit Form, which can be found on and in the Registrar’s Office. Your student will need to fill it out and take it to the Registrar’s Office for approval.
* Your student will only get transient credit if they pass the course with a “C” or better.
________________________________________________________________________
What is the difference between dropping and withdrawing from a course?
Dropping a course leaves no record on the student’s academic transcript, while withdrawing is always accompanied by a withdrawal grade such as W, WP or WF.
Dropping from a course does not create a receivable on the student’s account, meaning that a student who drops or is administratively dropped from a course owes nothing for that course. On the other hand, a student who withdraws from a course (or courses), pays at least a prorated amount for that course, depending on when the withdrawal occurs.
Based on our current drop policy, students have up to the 6th day of class during the regular term, (1st day in the summer) to drop out of an unwanted course or switch it for another.
_______________________________________________________________________
Where can I find information about commencement?
Commencement information can be found on this page under Commencement. Also, emails will be sent to your student’s Pfeiffer email account.
_______________________________________________________________________
My student applied for graduation. When will they know if they have been approved for graduation?听
After the Registrar’s Office evaluates a student for graduation clearance, the office emails the student and their advisor a Degree Audit Result Form. This form will let the student know which courses if any, they still need to graduate.听*These emails are only sent to the student’s 黑料专区 email address.
_________________________________________________________________________
Does my graduation application fee pay for my regalia (cap/gown)?
The purchase of graduation cap, gown and other regalia is not covered by your graduation application fee and payment for graduation attire is the responsibility of the graduate.
_________________________________________________________________________
Will I receive my diploma at graduation?听
Diplomas are mailed to students 6-8 weeks after Commencement. Students should verify their mailing address on the Application for Graduation.
_________________________________________________________________________
Will minors be listed on the diploma?听
Only the student’s first major will appear on their diploma. Second Majors, Minors and concentrations will be listed on the students transcripts, not their diploma.
_________________________________________________________________________
If I am a double major, will I receive two degrees?听
If both majors fall under the same degree, only one diploma with one major will be awarded. (e.g. Student majors in Counseling & Human Services and Psychology) The second major will appear only on the academic transcript.
If the two majors fall under two degrees, one BA and one BS, the student will receive two diplomas each one with the appropriate major. (e.g. Student majors in Psychology and Nursing).
__________________________________________________________________________
Did I graduate when I walked across the stage at commencement?
Attending the commencement ceremony does not mean that you have graduated. The conferral process is when we officially award your degree. This happens after a final review of your coursework within 30 days of the ceremony.
